You may submit an application to receive a service from a service provider located outside your home region.

If there is no service provider available in the immediate vicinity, it may be necessary to obtain the service from a provider located farther away.

Travel expenses incurred in the course of receiving rehabilitation services are reimbursed to service recipients who use the service outside their home municipality. The reimbursement rate for travel expenses is 0.10 euros per kilometer traveled, but not more than 41.55 euros per year. An application must be submitted to receive reimbursement.

To be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred after receiving rehabilitation services, you must submit an application along with supporting documentation to the Social Insurance Board’s customer service office in your place of residence.
