Special Education Teacher Services
A special education teacher supports the development of skills a child needs for learning.
Learning is built on attention, memory, perception, thinking, understanding speech, and the ability to follow instructions. A special education teacher helps identify a child’s strengths and the areas where they need extra support, and selects learning methods and exercises suited to the child.
A special education teacher can help if a child has difficulty:
– Remembering and using what they’ve learned
– Concentrating
– Understanding and remembering instructions
– Learning to read or write
– Calculating and understanding mathematical relationships
– Starting or finishing a task independently

Küllike earned her degree as a special education advisor from Tallinn University and has worked for over ten years in various rehabilitation, school, and kindergarten settings. She has worked as a special education teacher at AVE Center since 2010.

Lesya holds a master’s degree in speech therapy and has worked for over ten years as a speech therapist in kindergartens.
