Ave Little Preschool
AVE Little Preschool starts in the first week of October.
AVE Preschool was created for children who need a smaller group and a more individual approach when getting ready for school.
For us, school readiness means more than knowing letters and numbers. Just as important are the ability to listen and follow instructions, focus, complete tasks, interact with other children, and cope with new situations.
In preschool, we build pre-reading, pre-writing, and early math skills, along with speech and self-expression, attention and memory, fine motor skills, communication and teamwork skills, and independence and work habits.
Learning happens through play, hands-on activities, and at each child’s own developmental level. The preschool program is led by a special education teacher and an occupational therapist, with a psychologist available when needed.
We give parents regular feedback on their child’s development and progress.
We have two groups — one for Estonian-speaking children and one for children whose home language is different. Group sizes are limited. If there’s no space available in the right group at the moment, you can add your child to the waiting list.
🌱AVE Supportive Preschool
For children who need extra support and individual attention when getting ready for school.
The Supportive Preschool is designed for children who need a smaller, calmer learning environment, more time to understand and complete tasks, or support with attention, self-regulation, communication, motor skills, and work habits.
Group size is determined based on the children’s individual needs and the level of support required.

🍀AVE Estonian Language and School Readiness Preschool
For non-native-speaking children preparing to study in an Estonian-language school.
In this group, we build understanding of the Estonian language, vocabulary, and self-expression, and practice listening to and following instructions in Estonian.
Language learning is combined with school readiness — we simultaneously develop pre-reading, pre-writing, and early math skills, attention, memory, communication skills, and the work habits needed for school.
The group has up to 6 children, so that every child has enough opportunities to speak, interact, and actively take part in learning activities.

Every child deserves the chance to grow at their own pace. Get in touch with us and together we’ll find the best way to support your child.
Who is this preschool for?
– Needs more time and individual attention when getting ready for school
– Needs support developing attention, self-regulation, or work habits
– Feels more comfortable in a small, calm environment
– Will soon start school in an Estonian-language school and Estonian is not their home language
– Needs confidence and practice communicating in Estonian
– Needs support understanding instructions given in Estonian
Why a small group?
The group has up to 6 children. This allows every child more opportunities to speak and interact in Estonian, and lets our specialists notice which areas each child needs more support in.
The actual group size is set based on the children’s individual needs and the level of support required.
Classes are led by a special education teacher and an occupational therapist.
The child’s development is monitored throughout the preschool program, and parents receive feedback on their child’s strengths, progress, and skills that still need further development.
