Creative Therapy Services

A creative therapist supports a child’s emotional and psychological development through creative activities.
Creativity and play are a natural way for children to express themselves and process their experiences — through creative activities, a child can express feelings and thoughts that words alone may not be enough for. A creative therapist helps identify a child’s strengths and the areas where they need extra support, and selects creative activities and forms of expression suited to the child.
A creative therapist can help if a child has difficulty:
– Coping with change or stressful situations
– Concentrating and engaging in an activity
– Expressing and recognizing feelings
– Calming and regulating themselves
– Maintaining confidence and self-esteem
– Communicating and connecting with others
